Our friends on the English Language Arts Committee of the UFT have a new event to share:

Join Petra Pankow, Associate Director of Education Programs at the Museum of Art and Design, for an interactive workshop. Learn how to integrate art and design into your curriculum to deepen engagement and advance equity. Leave with tools that will enrich the thinking of all your students. Prepare to have fun too.

When: Thursday, January 16th, 4:15-6:15 p.m.

This promises to be a wonderfully fulfilling evening. A full menu of complimentary light refreshments will be served. The event is free but RSVPing is preferred (so that we have enough refreshments).

We make decisions by consensus so by joining us, a teacher takes an active role in teacher leadership. We are also always looking for teachers who might want to share "best practice" and present at future committee meetings.
