Do you teach English Language Learners? Are you looking for ways to reflect their cultures while boosting their language skills? Join WWB and NYS TESOL on March 27th from 6–7pm EST for a fast-moving, practical workshop.
During this Zoom webinar, attendees will engage in a session pertaining to Culturally Responsive texts from around the world that are representative of the countries that our MLL/ELL students are from. Participants will engage in an introductory session with lesson ideas and resources from Words without Borders. Members will earn CTLE credits.
Before the session, we encourage participants to read the short poem "Poem for Children with Trouble Sleeping" by Jean D'Amérique, translated by Nathan H. Dize.
