Apply for our Summer Train-the-Trainer Program!

Posted on May 16, 2024

Students at Baruch college in a class on WWB Campus literature.

Do you want to get to the next level with global literature? Are you interested in adding a Words Without Borders certification to your résumé? This July, join us for an inaugural train-the-trainer program that will prepare secondary and college-level educators to teach colleagues about global literature.

The program will be virtual and take place over four 1.5-hour sessions, tentatively scheduled for the afternoons of July 15, 18, 22, and 25. (If you’re interested but the dates present a challenge, let us know.)

Thanks to the support of the Whiting Foundation, this course will be entirely FREE for participants. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate from Words Without Borders and be eligible to facilitate paid training sessions in global literature.

Application Information

Applicants must have experience teaching at least two pieces of literature featured on the WWB Campus website. (If you haven’t done that yet, there’s time before the application.)

We will give preference to applicants who have already made arrangements to provide a workshop on global literature to colleagues this summer or fall. (Here’s an information sheet you can bring to your administration.)

Apply now with our one-page form! Applications are due by Monday, June 17. Applicants will be notified by July 8.
