Still making tweaks on your syllabus? Trying to decide which "Great Books" will be great in the classroom?
The New York Times has asked some educators, students and writers about their must-read lists. We especially appreciated Felice Nudelman’s insistence on diversity in reading lists: “It is one thing to study the ‘Great Books,’ quite another to let that list be narrowly defined by a small legacy subset of our culture.” (From “Don't Let Reading Lists Limit Students' Understanding of the World”)
